how long does it take.....

To leave a car park?

Well when are Events Management are running the car parking then an easier question to answer would be, "how longs a piece of string?"

Have just been to the airshow at RAF Leuchars an after getting back to the car at 5 we finally got back to the tintent at....

EIGHT FIFTEEN! Three n a quarter hours to do 19, yes 19 miles! Never have I seen such incompetence in my life! 8 parking areas trying to filter into 1 exit road! And where were Events Management during this? Damned if I know! By the time they started to appear the entire car park system was gridlocked until several hundred car horns were sounded in unison!

Lo and behold! As if by magic the parking staff appeared and proceded to stand around scratching their heads amongst other body parts!

As I'm writing poor Mav from D3 and his Dad are still heading for home!

Oh and just incase the driver of the ML270 reg ending EBB happens to read this then ITS CALLED A QUEUE FOR A REASON! Seems to think that using the wrong lane to TRY and barge to the front is perfectluy fine! NOT! Idiot! Glad the majority saw sense and held the git out!

Well a perfectly brilliant day was spoilt by the lack of 2 brain cells in the car park!
display by the Red Arrows and the Merlin choppers was excellent! And I found out that Holland and Poland actually have air forces! Lol
Missed Wokka tho! Wanted my RRS in the back! Lol Maybe next time? Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

535d m-sport Platinum grey and a few extras.... Gone

From the other side of the car park, we where what must have been 100 yards from the crash gate that was being used as the ext, took us 2 hours to get there! Shocked Was a complete and utter shambles! We actually stood and watched the traffic "directors" trying to direct the traffic, when the police and RAF security turned up and where "exchanging pleasantries" with them! They weren't pleased at all!

After their display the Netherlands air force where getting absolutely hammered out by there plane, but highlight of the show had to be the Vulcan, that's the forth time I've attempted to see it fly! And the first! What awesome weather we had as well! Maverick off disco3!
