Has anyone been able to enable the Video up front for vehicles that have the Rear Seat Entertainment System option that could provide instructions on how they did it?

I'm getting ready to tackle the job myself this weekend but would like to see if anyone has already done it, so I can save time if possible.

Not interested in instructions for Overhead DVD system on LR3 or RR Sport.

It is enabled for non-US/Canada vehicles. (Well, at least the show car I played with had it... so some markets must be enabled.)

No solution known... sorry. I'm not sure to what level they disabled it in North America. (It could be software/firmware only, which you can't change... they could have removed the analog video connection from the DVD to the screen, too, since it isn't needed.)

(If you run Navigation screen debug/diag mode, does the DVD video appear from one of the test sources if it's playing?)

Yes, I've tried the debug mode, I'm assuming your talking of diagnostic code 753. But I did not see any video.
