Finally seen the MY10 in the flesh

Popped into my local dealer this morning to take a close look at the MY10 RRS

First Impressions - the interior a fantastic improvement and immedialtely got me interested again, although after a few minutes my eyes were drawn back to some cheap plastics that still remain which is a shame. The overal feel is a lot more in keeping with the price tag and its competition and when getting back into the Treg made me realise how dull the VW is inside. My only complaint with the interior is it now feels even tighter inside - the Treg is so much more spacious for the driver and passenger - I can't seem to work out why the RRS is lacking room?

On the outside, personally I like it - the one we saw was White and it looked very nice - I didn't think it was too bling at all

Problem however for me is the price - £57 for the 3.0V6 in my spec - er...... I don't think so Confused

I think RRS is physically narrower than Treg Kaine - it's narrower than both D4 and Freel2

I agree with you about the price but Land Rover always play this game when there is a new smaller car in the offing (LRX in 2010/11) - facelift existing models and move their prices upwards by a huge amount.
Another new RRS is going to be out of my price league when VAT is put back to 17.5% in November, I'll be able to afford one but won't be able to justify one at a price over £60k when there are so many other better cars at that price level, and RRS doesn't compete with most of them in any way other than price! I think LR might just have shot itself in the corporate foot hiking RRS prices that much - hell even a top spec XF is cheaper than a TDV8 HSE RRS and possibly more desirable 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

SUV's are being seen as a thing of satan, I suspect the situation will only get worse and attract even more unwanted attention from the holier than thou brigade who want us to do things their way and not our own! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
