I have been looking at the new Samsung side projected LED TV's, series 7 i believe which is about to get superceeded by the Series 8 (200hz). The local outlet put it next to the Sony 1080 HD LCD and played a blue ray film on both, the Samsung was distinctly better.. by far the best i have seen in years in picture quality, a bit more expensive, but give it 6 months the prices will come down.

Zilch - make sure you watch a Standard Definition signal on the Samsung before buying - Sammy are generally poor for SD signals imo |
