I think I would still go for a DBS Touchtronic II as after years of driving autos I have no desire to go back to 3 pedals.

I also think the DBS pips the AMV V12 in the looks dept Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

@Angel:
How's the Touchtronic to drive in an Aston Martin? Does it change gears fast? Does it change them "hard" with a punch in the back everytime you start or change gears or does it change them more "soft" like a "usual" automatic transmission? Question

Just necessary for me to know if I have to dream about a volante with two or three pedals! Thumbs Up Laughing RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink

Touchtronic 2 on the DBS = in Sport mode changes gears very hard - each off them runs into the limiter if wished and then in D mode its like a lamb...... Cool

btw all AM test-drivers agreed that nearly no one can change the gears on a manual as fast as on the TT2... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Is Angel the little fat one in the first picture or the dorky (and also short) one in the white trousers? That's not my name

RL, the constant sniping is becoming a little boring.

@Angel:
That's exactly how it has to be, sounds great! Thumbs Up

I think I already mentioned, I don't like the Audi-solution which is hellfast (0,03sec for a complete change in gears Shocked ) but always terribly hard which is nice when you want to go fast, but for the few moments when you want to drive normally there is an option as the described AM one with a very soft "D" missing.

So next step: I'll have to win the Euromillions tonight. It's only 28 Mio. € today, but should be enough for a DBS Volante. Cool RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink
