Watchaholic, I'm not a fan of Black........................... but that is a nice motor you have. Does the Aircon not struggle a bit in a balck car in your sunshine and heat?

Tim - I know black attracts the heat but why would that potentially make the A/C struggle?

My experience of black cars is they absorb the heat and the interior can get very warm as a result and unlike the aircon in FFRR's there have been reports of RRS aircon struggling with high ambient temperatures and humidity.

Rofl ! will have to look into buying some white jeans too Yea it was a real hazy day, think we had sand storms all week long - still meant it was cooler then it had been. The gf has a white RRS now after driving my RRS for a bit and personally I dont think the white or black colours make any difference at all with that much heat, now though after owning this car for a little while I think the white looks a lot better most of the time as it looks cleaner. Am dreading to see the condition of my cars when I fly back next week as have skipped out during Ramadan and they have been sitting in the sand for almost 3 weeks now. Thanks for the comments guys |

Tim, tbh the only downside is the attraction and visibility of dust and sand. All cars get seriously hot in hot countries and the odd extra degree or two makes little or no difference. Re your last comment, i'm intrigued. Can you drop me a PM with a little more meat on the bones?
