I've ordered mine a month ago and went straight for White but was waivering about my colour choice since then. I was sure about not doing the obvious thing and go for black but in addition to White I liked Bali, Ipanema, Stornaway and Zermatt.

Yesterday I have seen two white RRS on the motorway and found them just OK-ish so this morning I rang up the dealer to change my order to Zermatt Silver.

My current RRS is in Zermatt and the advantage is that at least I know how it looks in any weather, dirty or clean. No experiments, no gamble. Pictures in brochures are always manipulated in one way or the other and I felt it's better to be safe than sorry. ..and I like the fact that Silver suits the car and is not bling at all.

BTW my other car is a VW T5, like yours ... SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

What T5 do you have mines the T32 130bhp next one going to be the 170bhp!! these are awesome vans

I have got the same engine as you and mine's a 4motion with rear diff lock, MTR tyres and other goodies and would you believe it's colour is grey white .... the standard van colour but in fact it looks great with anthrazite alloys, darkened windows, and as you say it's a pleasure to drive on and off-road.

Did you know there's a new one coming out now with a common rail diesel and a iffy facelifted front?

I have just sat in a 2010 FFRR and was disappointed that the centre of the dash is now done in that awful Korean Fake Leather finish plastic around the vents in the centre of the dash - looks really out of place when the rest of the interior (including the headlining) was completely finished in the most beautiful REAL leather.
Must admit though that is is still a special experience to sit inside a FFRR and the 2010MY RRS is now so close to the quality of the FFRR that really it is a whole new car in an old shape body! The finish of the Nara Bronze car I looked at was stunning in Arabica and nutmeg with the enhance leather and premium seats - I didn't realise Premium Leather is a £550 option on HSE - I thought only S/C got Premium Leather.
Dealership were just putting a used Atacama Sand FFRR Vogue out in the used car lot............................ an aquired taste but the previous owner had replaced it with a 2010MY the same colour! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, if it had a leather headlining then it will probably be an Autobiography (or Vogue SE with leather headlining as an option) in which case the dash topper is leather (not fake leather).

This wasn't the dash top it was the black bit below the TV screen where the 2 vents are sited - the surround for the vents basically which is slightly recessed from the rest of the dash. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
