Gently remove the seat base trim or get in the rear footwell and check the connections are still OK, There may be satnav DvD and other stuff under the seat so you may end up taking the trim off anyway. You may find that the cable has got trapped and the connections pulled out or the wires have got cut.
BTW Mem 1,2 & 3 will only work the seat if there are positions programmed into the memories. If the battery has been disconnected then the memory setting may have been lost, also have you tried BOTH key fobs? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

the battery has been dead.. i thought the DVD drive was under the passenger footwell..

i will check again the base of the drivers seat..

from what i saw last time all the block connectors looked well in place... so just wanted to double check with the fuse..

In the RHD variant, the fuse box is behind the glove box and NAV DVD player under the the LH seat.... lower the lower glove box and squeeze the two hinge clips for the box to lower further providing access to the fuse 'box'...

I think it is in the owners manual if you have that ?

sorted this out fuse 30amp had blown because the wires under the seat had been caught along the tracks.

managed to untwist then then just insulated with some tape and secured back down. all is good in that department
