The recall notice doesn't cover UK sourced cars, even if your VIN is in the range.

Thanks for the info - I assume it will apply to UK cars, but dealers can't or won't get pulled into discussions without the relevant recall notice being issued first. Maybe it just takes longer getting one into the system in the UK? |

Would like to think it will apply here, maybe due to higher numbers of cars here they're waiting to get enough stock. That's why I bypassed the Dealer and contacted LRCS, but they wouldn't comment yet?

Had the recall done on my car whilst it was being serviced yesterday, there are now some very noticable new pipes coming out of the master cylinder... |

Radio Problem? A couple of weeks ago I had the beast out on the dunes at Stockton and lost the radio audio for a whole day. Everything worked except sound actually coming out of the speakers. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6 |

Check my update Jimmy, found to be a crushed cable loom which is routed through the cabin, changed today by the dealer, Radio worked perfectly on the way home. On a more serious note, i checked around the brakes and could not see any mods, the D3 brigade seems to show a complete new plumbing centre under the bonnet, so will double check tomorrow to find out if this should have been undertaken. Arrived at Stealer 08.30 Car finished at 09.00. Not sure what they did but no oil in the brakes and all now seems ok. I will check for pipes later!

Asked the dealer about why no mods today, he stated that the recall had not yet come in for the EU3 models, interesting though that my car falls within the Manufacturing dates, mine is a Dec 05 ? Apparently only the EU4 models have the mod notice, he hopes to get the notice on the EU3's when it goes in for its new bushes and ball joints in a few weeks time. All, another recall. I wish this one was done when the Brake recall was undertaken on my vehicle.

So answering my earlier question myself it appears that only the TDV6 engined cars are to be recalled. |
