Genuine wheels have the Land Rover badge cast into the back of a spoke, and they should also have a LR part number cast in, usually three letters, 6 numbers and three letters. e.g. RRC601244LNH or similar - I made that one up!

Also if the wheels are a non-standard colour or size - e.g. black or 22" Stormers - then they are replicas. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

But if they are boxed wheels then don't go by what is printed on the boxes, I encountered a local guy trying to pass off boxed LR wheels as genuine - the packaging was very convincing, even down to the LR part numbers/ logos and so on, but when he opened the boxes what was inside had no LR logo cast into them. Turned out he was importing fakes from China and was trying to charge full UK dealer price for them. I ran a mile and told him why! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I can see the part number but I'm struggling to see where the Land Rover badge is cast? |

Ah! excellent. I was expecting to see a large badge but that's clarified it nicely.
