Haven't done it but isn't the time of ownership 2 years, not 12 months to import it tax free? Then you have the shipping and I think that the speedo has to get converted into km/h as well as maybe the inclusion of some other ADRs? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

When I moved to Aus in 2002 I (briefly) looked at bringing my Boxster out with me and the regs just made it look far too difficult for little if any gain.

I have seen locally a HSE model, assumed from the UK in a nearby suburb of Sydney North shore, so someone has done it. Like 2nd we looked to bring our TD5 down 4 years ago and gave up because it was just to hard to find out all the duties, requirements etc. Good luck Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Looked into going toOz last year and had some info on the importing of vechicles, but thrown out now
