I like this quote, which I think sums it up perfectly:

Really? Bet it won't go as fast from 0-62 though.................................... And the pre2010 cars aren't all that bad either but I still think the FFRR is more luxo still so the last comment isn't quite true! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |

Fair point, but I think the journos are still reeling from the vast improvement that the MY10 is over the outgoing version. I can't wait to drive them and form my own opinion

I can forgive the external changes as i'm sure there will be aftermarket improvemants available. The interior looks stunning though and can't wait to see it for real. it goes without saying that if I could afford to I would swap my RRS for a new RRS in Rimin Red just because of the interior alone.

Autocar has a short test of the D4 3.0 HSE in this weeks issue - conclusion........................ it's now a 7 seat Range Rover that can now hack it on-road as well as off! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hey watch out, D4 appeals to me - D3 didn't......................................... could save a fortune on hotel bills if I bought a D4 and parked up in camping sites, fold down the rear 5 seats zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The FFRR brochure in LR Hasselt quoted 6.2sec 0-100km/h and top speed limited to 225km/h, they didn't have any info on the 10MY RRS. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

I have the MY10 brochures at home. Oddlly, the FFRR brochure is much thicker than the RRS brochure.... You get the feeling the RRS brochure is a bit of stopgap. Not sure whether it is or not....
