JLR/ Tata gets Private Equity backing

Have just heard on the news that Tata has secured non-governmental financing from a Private Equity backer. Of course Lord Mandy of Limp Wrist is very happy, but not as happy as the workforce at Halewood who now have enough money to start production of the new XJ. The new backer has sunk £175 million into their investment in Tata/ JLR. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It's very good news indeed! Keep an eye on the BBC as you may see CHPR as they have mentioned that that they may pop down from Whitecity to film outside the dealership.

James Thumbs Up

James I would if I had a telly! In fact in the item that was aired later in the news the money that Tata has secured runs to £350million including bankloans and guarantees and some money from the EU (which was arranged by Lord Mandy) so I suppose that also secures LRX for production as well. Of course Lord Mandy was crowing about he has single handedly saved JLR and the country's auto industry while he was on holiday and now he is moving on to save Vauxhall.................................. next week he's taking over as Prime Minister in his spare time between arranging financial deals for UK car makers. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You didn't hear him on the R4 Today program this morning did you................................... manipulative or what? He didn't answer one of the questions put to him all he did was tell us what he thought the Tories were not doing to help Labour out of this "temporary" problem and dodged entirely the question that was put to him that we will be up to our armpits in paying for Gordon Brown's incompetency until 2017 at the earliest! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
