2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Why?

This weekend I was at the annual SLROC offroad summer bash and this appeared. You cannot really judge how high it is from the photo so to give you an idea the sills are at waist height............................. It cannot go offroad as the transmission is too fragile, it cannot tow and it cannot get into most carparks. The steering guard seems a bit unnecessary, but maybe it is there to protect pedestrians! Otherwise nit is a cracking V8 powered landie!

The guy who owns it also had to get a friend of his with a "normal" V8 offroad racer Landie to tow his own offroad racer to the event on a trailer! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

S, all the V8's there at the weekend were VERY loud, most had straight through exhausts but this one wasn't so loud!
The story behind that elevated 110 was that last year at an event, when it was an ex military vehicle, he rolled it and did a lot of damage to it. He bought the car back from the insurance company and this is the result of the rebuild. What I do know is that it is the guy's daily runner.

At least he gets a really good view into 1st floor bedroom windows and over hedgerows from it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

This one is just as mad, 49" tyres, 5" body lift and a 4" suspension lift. He needs a ladder to get in it. The rock sliders are shoulder height. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten
