2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Service Contacts/Plans

Yesterday at an offroad event I was talking with a member of Disco3.co.uk who runs a TDV6 D3 which he bought 2nd hand from the local LR dealer last year. He told me that he had just purchased a maintenance plan through the dealer that covers all servicing costs for 5 years. I don't know if this is something Land Rover is marketing or if it is a dealer thing. I was told that also it appears to be expensive at £2000'ish but you pay monthly and it's interest free/zero apr for the term of the plan. When the guy worked out what it would cost for the same servicing over the period he was not paying any more, and if he sells the car before the end of the plan then any payments made that have not been used to pay for servicing are refunded........................ sounds almost too good to be true! It also means that his Disco will have a full set of dealer service stamps in it's service record even when it is 8 years old. Next time I am in Stirling I will ask at the service reception. This may be of interest to those intending to keep their RRS for a long time. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I had one on my FFRR, but I think that LR lost so much money on them as it included EVERYTHING except insurance for 5 years, they discontinued it. The plan was called VIP and cost £1500 for 5 years including MOT's and tyres............................. as well as all the servicing. Unfortunately it was not transferable to the next owner and then you didn't get any refund on the unused bit either. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
