Is RRSport getting as common as X5/X3

I went to Gleneagles Hotel this afternoon for tea and counted 14 RRSports (mostly Java or Santorini but there was one Alaska White S with a mountain of extras) in the various carparks we had to drive through to get to the front door............................. only a couple of D3's and 6 FFRR's, 1 Defender110 and a spotless Airportable Series Landy.
Also saw the plate W2 on an X5 - plate must be worth considerably more than the car it was attached to.

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

There are about that many in our village here, and atleat as many X5/X3 with a springkling of Cayenne too. The D3 is the rare one around here. The guy next door to the new house we bought has a TDV8 FFRR as a company car and an RRS as his own. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Was at Harrods last night, saw 3 599's, 2 Phantom Convertibles, a pink (yes pink) Gallardo, SLR, numerous Bentley's and yes about 20 RRS/FFRR.........I don't get why people from Dubai bring their cars here though......surely it costs a fortune, and if they are that rich, why not just buy one here.....

Nick - Why? Because they can, it's all part of the showing off thing. Nobody gives a Kahn or an Overfinch a second glance these days but a FFRR on white Dubai plates with gold lettering will always get peoples head to turn.
Also if you are herding the hareem into the back of your private 737, why not shove the RRS and FFRR in there too after all there will be plenty of room unless you have the SP options fitted. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Totally Agree 4wheel, They're a loads of them around Aberdeen - I regularly pass at least 3 or 4 on my way to work every morning, and that's not even in the city but out in the sticks! - Guess that's the price we pay

I keep bumping into one identical to mine in Dyce. Seen it 3 or 4 times now. Dunno if its HST or Stormer though. Hard to tell when he's always going opposite direction to me. Keeps looking over when we pass though so maybe hes thinking the same thing!!! Laughing Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Easy way to tell, if it's coming towards you 4WD........................... If it's a TDv8 or S/C HST then look in the lower front grille for the ACC box in the lower right corner, and if you are higher up then look at the roof - the HST will have a sunroof! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black

Was at the Belfry at the weekend, playing golf. And obviously in good company.
Seemed like every other car was either an RRS, FFRR or D3.
Parked right outside the front door, when I came out parked next to me was a matching black FFRR.
A mate said I'd have trouble finding my car in the morning, due to the fact there were so many Range Rovers in the Car Park.
Had a mare on the course and the club though!
As for common at home, very, but RRS have always been popular down here in Sunny Essex.
