doubt you'd ruffle their feathers, he would probably just look down at you and think look at this muppet in the inside lane trying to turn a nice day out into a drag race. I frequently have the same problem with Saxo drivers and the odd Impretza driver who's exhaust sounds like a slack arse - or even worse a blowfly |

Sorry it's a pet hate of mine that people don't drive with consideration for other road users by moving over asap and there by force other people to take unnecessary risks by undertaking. The lane hogging behaviour often goes on to contribute to fatal accidents. Rant over TDV6 - gone TDV8 - gone Audi Q5 3.0 Tdi Sline wef 6/11/10 |

.....but with a far superior sound. As good as the TDV8 is and no doubt the new TT 3.0 V6 will be, it will never be a substitute for the Supercharged petrol. Never. As for racing a Big Daddy........why? What exactly are you trying to prove in your inferior Range Rover Sport, never P s off a family member L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now! 5 series for the miles RRS S/C factory built HST - Gone 45 others have been and gone! |

Agreed! yes but what really golly gee wizzes me off is when you come out of a roundabout having passed a slow moving vehicle and then some peasant comes flying up at an uncontrollable speed, doesn't give you the opportunity to move over and immediately tries to undertake. Given his dangerouse driving you are left in a dilemma - do you pull in and risk pulling into his path and side-swiping him. or stay put in the outside lane and then pull over when he has gone. Its these that are causing the accidents - true there is no excuse for sitting in the outside lane cruising when the inside lanes are clear, but there are also fast dangerous driving tits with no patience at all - who persist in undertaking and causing serious accidents.
there was a time when it used to be a cheery wave or a nod and a smile to a fellow LR owner - even during a sprightly sprint from the lights - a lot of new LR / RR drivers seem to see other LR owners as fair game - perhaps they have something to prove...i.e. look at me I've finally made it my rant over |

The RRS is fitted with many parts that store info/data simply removing or swithching off the 'chip' may not hide the fact its been tampered with, i know of a case where the dealer was involved in an 'upgrade' then one day the car failed whilst out of town, due to work load the dealer involved could not fit the repair in so off it went to another dealer, they promptly found the problem and then the 'upgrade' this is where the warranty claim stopped, the customer was faced with a £7000 bill!!!

For every customer that's been badly burnt by this, there's a 100 more than haven't. It's all about accepting a risk isn't it?
