Norway 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bali Blue
Bali Blue on the way

Hi folks, been away from the forum lately, just been enjoying my TDV6 for 80K kms mostly trouble free ownership.

Pulled the trigger today, and went for a 3,0 diesel. Was very unsure if a RRS would be my next drive, seriously thought about a X5, however, when the 2010 upgrades were revealed I wasn't actually much in doubt what to choose.

Specs are:
Bali blue / Tan premium / Anigre wood trim
Dynamic response
Keyless entry
AFS
Automatic head lights
Tow hitch
Privacy glass
Heated steering wheel (not a luxury in Norway)
Paddle shift
Premium ICE Pack

Can change spec until end August, but I believe this will be fine.

Already thnking about what mods to do to it, surely remapping will be done and probably S/C grille and side vents to be fitted. 2010 RRS TDV6 3,0, Bali Blue/Tan/Anigre/Dynamic Pack/Logic7/Keyless entry/Paddle

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Looks fantastic in Bali, that or white will be my options for the next RRS if I get one. Great choice IMHO ErSa, not sure about those wheels though, they look a bit fancy - a set of shadow chrome 10 spoke 20" like those on the current TDv8 and S/C would look really good on it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Thanks Tim
Yes the wheel are actually my only doubt, think the look rather nice but must be a nightmare to keep kleen!
Tried to specify the new S/C rims but the dealer would not alow me, anyway I probably will choose them for my winter tires and switch around. 2010 RRS TDV6 3,0, Bali Blue/Tan/Anigre/Dynamic Pack/Logic7/Keyless entry/Paddle

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

My 1st ever Land Rover, a Disco1 V8iES was in a very similar blue - in those days it was called Biaritz Blue, it wasn't difficult to keep clean, but not as easy as Stornoway Grey - my TDv8 has just had it's fitrsy was in nearly a month and then I only did it to clean the brake dust off the wheels and the muddy splashes from the sides after I drove down a very very wet farm lane on Sunday. The only problem I had with the Biaritz Blue was the number of "washing swirls" it seemed to be able to show. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Nice choice Ersa - I reckon Bali will fly off the shelves.

I'm not convinced about those new wheels either... I do like the MY10 FFRR wheels though, I'd happily have them. I wonder if they fit on the RRS? Confused

Dealer signed contacts for three RRS's past few days, all in Bali blue Exclamation
Hope not all 2010 cars will be in this colour. 2010 RRS TDV6 3,0, Bali Blue/Tan/Anigre/Dynamic Pack/Logic7/Keyless entry/Paddle

You mean these wheels. As you can see I've got the diamond cut version of them, which you might think would be a pain to clean. To be honest I find them a lot easier to keep clean than the origional wheels.

The problem I found with the origional wheels was that the painted surface seemed quite soft (even damaged by driving through grass) and brake dust really stuck and got imbedded in the paint making them very hard to clean.

So I think LR have improved their wheels. TDV6 - gone

Well even so I still think they are nice wheels diamond cut or not ErSa Thumbs Up
They will look good with that blue. I don't think the diamond cut ones would suit because they are painted grey inside the cut and on the centre front section............so they really suit Stornoway grey.

Poor olde Scmoogle is looking at the wheels on the white RRS in your link as opposed to admiring your Blue one. Hence why he is conf Rolling Eyes used Rolling with laughter TDV6 - gone
