2005 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 SE Java Black
hand brake screeching

hand brake noise ,can any body help when hand brake is applied there is a loud screeching noise coming from back of car,it stops when engine is turned off

EPB (park brake) has failed or needs adjusting. Leave car in "Park" when you stop until you get it fixed or you will damage further.

It's a visit to the dealer or a non franchise specialist to fix it. The brakeshoes have come out of alignment. It's something LR appears to have fixed on post 2007MY cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
