Headlight assembly removal

Im a newbie, just got an 06 RRS. I noticed this morning that the passenger side headlight amber bulb is out. I went to the auto parts store and picked up a new bulb. However, I cannot figure out how to get the headlight lens off. All I need to do is replace the amber bulb. Please help

Thanks,
Kenny

Hi
Easy peesy, lift bonnet/hood to yourself there is two metal slide plates one left one on right side of head lamp, just slide them up about an inch, pull the full head lamp cluster out then you will see the plug connector press and pull to remove, fit new bulb then reverse to refit.
cheers wullie Very Happy

Take care that the key is not in the ignition before you touch the headlights. When I had my LED's in my headlamps fitted the fitter wanted my key in his poccession as he had received a nasty shock when changing the HID Xenon fittings on another car, with the key in the ignition - apparrently the lamps start to build up charge (many many volts) as soon as the key is put in the ignition........................... I don't know how true this is but it seems like a sensible precaution to me 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
