It was mentioned on the Today programme on R4 this morning too - but wasn't Chrome supposed to have launched last year? I remember reading/ hearing about it sometime in early 2008. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Interesting they should use Apple's phrase - It will just work!

I guess this fits very well with all this cloud stuff, presumably if you follow that to its conclusion you end up with everything on line and you just need a quick lean way of getting online. I've used Gmail a bit recently which seems to work ok and Chrome has had reasonable reviews.

Apple must be concerned too if a lot of their recent success has been built around no viruses and just working etc. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

Chrome OS is based on a minimal Linux kernel - I earn my keep from MS products so am a little bit partisan but as a company our Unix standard is currently moving away from Solaris and onto Redhat Thumbs Up
