Tail Gate Open

Hi,

I have a constant issue with a message on the dashboard saying that the tailgate is open. I am not sure if this related to the whole back door or only the window part.

I have repatedly closed this (checking that it is actually closed) with no improvement.

Can anybody give me any suggestions?

I had this .... with the added problem that the tailgate wouln't close a lot of the time.

Turned out to be that my tailgate wasn't fitted on straight. Stand at the back of your car and see if the line of the top of the tailgate is level?

If not, a trip to the dealers. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

I will check thanks, I also have the problem where the tailgate will not always close
