South Korea 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Color coded grill

Since I have stornoway grey, I like the way the whole car looks more like "color coded". But I think maybe front grill needs little bit of change. Maybe supercharger grill or color coding.

I don't know whether color coded front grill would look nice since I haven't seen one. Any pic? Also I'm sure whether it needs sanding for painting. (How about the side mirror covers? Do they need sanding I guess?)

Is the supercharged one's silver grill painted in silver or metal finished?

Any input will be appreciated. 09 TDV6 HSE, Stornoway Grey/Black, Sat. DMB/Navi, 2GB memory, Rear view camera, 12 CD/MP3/DVD changer, 35% Lumar tinting, Custom exhaust tips

You can buy covers for the wing mirrors - IIRC these are brushed steel but I know polished ones are available too. Further more you could buy a set and get them painted. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Search the gallery for "grille" and you'll see pics of both the standard SC grille and a colour coded one too.

Nick the "smiley" Audi stlye LEDs are fine - I use them like daylight running lights so they are on whenever the car is running. The sidelights though have one LED out of 5 on each side out and the drivers side one sometimes flickers a lot...............................

Jay - cheers mate Wink Although they don't have that "integrated" look I can tell you the driving lights are brilliant and give a much better spread of light on fullbeam than the standard headlights, very useful when driving the country roads around here on dark nights. They also wake up those drivers who seem to think that my dipped headlights are not dipped! Whistle

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

Hi Tim - have a look at my gallery - I have colour coded and hst grill - granted - it's black, not silver like your car - I love the look though!

I had a guy paint it - he did say that it was a difficult job as he couldn't rub down all surfaces however it looks great.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Very nice Jonathon, I love the Supersport wheels but with such low profile tyres don't you get a lot of damage to the rims? Must have been a nightmare for the workshop to prep an HST grille for painting with all those surfaces to sand down beforehand. HST grilles are getting so common I might just go back to my TDv8 standard grille though! The great thing about Stornoway Grey is that with the exception of the mirror cowls virtually all the plastic bits the factory supplies are a very close colour match to the body colour so you save a fortune on colour coding - unless you want a gloss finish on everything! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

That's right! That's why I chose SG over black one. But the grill, I wanna do something about it. I prefer reg grill/SC grill to HST one.

Has anyone seen SG painted grill? 09 TDV6 HSE, Stornoway Grey/Black, Sat. DMB/Navi, 2GB memory, Rear view camera, 12 CD/MP3/DVD changer, 35% Lumar tinting, Custom exhaust tips
