ok, i have driven in the city... but the ranger uses in the city 16. so i really cant belive that an 1,9 liter engine use round the same like an supercharged engine.. Rolling Eyes RRS TDV8 Modelyear 2009 with some modifications.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

-4C for the outside temp and the RRS = no aircon running!
+23C for the Passat = aircon struggling to keep you cool

The TDV8 also probably doesn't even notice the extra load from the ac, but a 1.9TD in a heavy Passat then it has it's work cut out before you even switch the ac on

I agree though even an S/C would struggle to get as bad as 16l/100km 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The best I have ever seen from my TDV8 is an indicated 36.5mpg on the trip computer. This was for a 45 mile drive at a constant 60mph along the M62 motorway.
