Wokkman has just confirmed the final details for the visit to RAF Odiham on Sunday 12th July. Obviously security at the base is particularly high; therefore we will need to obtain passes for each vehicle. Please can you PM me asap with your vehicle model, registration number and whether you will be meeting at CHPR and traveling down in convoy or making your own way there?

I must stress that it is unlikely that you will be able to get your vehicle onto the base on the day unless you have provided the above details prior. The format for the day (at the base) is being arranged by Wokkaman and will loosely include the following:

12:15pm - Meet at CHPR (W3 0SL) and convoy down A30 (This is optional)

2pm - Arrive at RAF Oldiham (RG29 1QT)

Look around the hangar and a static Chinook
Opportunity to take a photo of your vehicle 1/2 way on the loading ramp
Couple of video's and a talk by a colleague of Wokkaman's about the aircraft and display team
Possibility of a skidpan display in an RAF Land Rover Wolf (passenger ride possibly too)
If the airfield isn't busy then a blast up the runway

5:30pm - Display team returns from an outing, and we should have our own private demonstration.

6:30pm - Depart (approximate times).


Meeting at CHPR is optional as you are welcome to meet at the gates of RAF Oldiham if you prefer. If you would like to join the comvoy then Wokkaman has recommended the A30 as a nice route down from London which will take 1hr to 1:15hrs.

If you could please PM me as soon as possible with the three bits of information required and mark the subject line 'Red Card'.
