Jag XFR / XKR

Tested both of these babies at the weekend with Monsieur Misery............if you get a chance, go drive them. Totally outstanding cars.

Got to meet one of the wood craftsman from Jaguar, the amount of work that goes into wood fitments / carbon fibre fitments is incredible. The guys from Jaguar were brilliant as was the hospitality from Harwoods Jaguar / Land Rover.

I was almost tempted, {almost} to start contemplating part ex'ing the SL for the XKR 5l S/C. Breathtaking car (aside from the soft top, which TBH baffled me).

That engine is a monster........apparently comes of the line at 600bhp and is de-tuned Shocked Shocked

Let's hope we see something special in the LR lineup that has maybe been less de-tuned in the months to come..........507bhp, pah Wink L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Surely the operation of the soft top option would be much easier on the XKR WW, it has the same engine as the XFR.
You obvioulsy were looking for a switch like your SL has Will, I'm sure that I read that XFR convertable comes with one of these more elegant and practical switches with a suitable price and with a Jaguar logo stamped on it, hiding in the cooler box read for those sunny days. Think of all the other uses you coould use it for that the boring switch/button on the SL cannot be used for
