Sounds like the ignition barrel - what you put the key into. Are there any fault codes? |

ISTR an issue with poor battery connections causing the same problem.

I had this in my RRS - They needed to replace something, can't remember what but all I do know is that it's a to change. Warranty job. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Dear Jonathan,unfortunally that is not the problem.Even when the car is warm,after I wait for the system check etc...etc ,I have to turn the key 3/4 or 5 times before it starts.

I just spoke to someone who had a similar problem - turned out it was the key itself.

OK - so the thing to do is obviously change to your spare key and see if you get the same issue with that one
