Chrisbin, I drive TDV8 on daily basis but also have a TDV6 which I drive from time to time when back home. It is true that the TDV8 is a completely different car but the problem it has so much power that you feel sorry to drive it on those low revs....

Wrong.......the TDV8 will still be available in the updated MY10 run and beyond. It will have the new interior. But it will not have the updated ZF gear box. Personally I have had a TDV6 and now have a TDV8. I accept the 3.0TDV6 will be better than the 2.7TDV6 but it will definately not be as good as the TDV8. So if you intend to wait for the face lift then get the TDV8 And if you are buying now then TDV8 TDV6 - gone TDV8 - gone Audi Q5 3.0 Tdi Sline wef 6/11/10 |

The TDV8 is SO much more of a motor.... the MY10 V6 will certainly close the gap, though. Depends on what your budget is, concern over fuel costs etc. In town the TDV8 will probably equal the 23mpg of your Toerag.
