My steering wheel now wobbles when I brake - it has been at the dealer today getting 2 new tyres and front brakes - it's done 31k miles.

Just to be clear - there is none of the usual wobble when I am at a constant speed or accelerating (as I think you get when the wheel's aren't balanced properly) it's just when I decellerate.

Mate, the wobble I had was very inconsistent and appeared also when decellerating... I would assume that what you have is also down to balancing...

It's the brakes apparently - had new pads on on Wednesday and now disks need doing (or is it the other way round? Anyway one of them is on warranty and that's the one that needs doing - sorted! Phew. Jaguar XKR Convertible

Sounds like warped discs....they used to machine them, but now they just replace them. Have you taken it through water when your discs were really hot? RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof |
