United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver
Steering wheel whistle

Can anyone help Question

My steering wheel has developed an annoying whistle when you turn the wheel.

A bit like the kiddies toy where you blow and pull and push the slider to change the pitch.  SDV8 vogue SE.
Corris grey and ivory leather + most of the toys.
Limited edition RRS model number 0001 Smile
Gone TDV8 RR Sport. Never to be forgotten.

Wife has an i8 BMW

Yep, had that - had the steering wheel removed three times, lubricated, cassette replace.....ended up being something lower down on the coupling which was carrying up the steering shaft.

Bloody annoying noise though! RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I have the same, the stealer told me it has to do with the thing behind the wheel which dies the electrical connection and some cleaning liquids which accidentially went there. He solved that problem on some cars but since this is not cheap (it takes "some hours") and since the noise is not that loud he told me "Tune up the radio, that's cheaper!" and after he told me nothing can brake there so that's what I'll do. Just another hidden feature! Thumbs Up RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink
