Remove spare tire with hitch on? Possible?

Hi guys, I am going for a long drive with the family next week and got to get the RRS ready. 3000km round trip so I got to be prepared. I was wondering if you can get the spare tire off with the hitch on? I do not have my hitch key so I cannot remove my hitch at this time but am going to the dealership to get this taken care of, hopefully before my trip but if not, I want to make sure I'll be okay. Thanks!

I'm guessing he hasn't got the 'normal' removable towbar that we all know, but the NA style tow hitch.

ISTR that it's a bit of a pig to get the wheel off with teh NA style hithc in place, but it should be possible Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
