Don't you have sat nav out there then or you just don't have a disk?

The cars come fitted with sat nav, ie DVD under the seat and the screen in the centre console, but the disks for NZ are not yet available. The dealers and importer have said middle of the year (last year) end of the year, beginning of this year and middle of this year. I guess this is the problem with being a small market.

Mercedes, BMW, Lexus and many others provide sat nav here so why can't LR get their act together and do the same. Lexus had the same number of new registrations as Land Rover so I wonder if it is just a matter of willingness to serve the customer!

My RRS came with the DVD covering Europe. Naturally I requested for one covering my country. The dealer promised to check with LRUK .

After a couple of weeks I was told that LRUK does not have the DVD for this region. I was advised to contact NAVTEQ.

I emailed NAVTEQ who politely told me to contact the manufacturers of my vehicle!

You're right KiwiRRS. Practically all makes of cars sold here provide the satnav DVD, except LR.
Maybe that's LR's way to show the world how exclusive their vehicles are!!

So, I drive around my country in a car worth roughly 150,000 GBP fully equipped with a SATNAV Player/Screen BUT with a cheap GARMIN hanging from my windscreen, wires and all! You will not find on our roads any other make of car in that price category with a GARMIN 'suctioned' to the windscreen. Mad

Cheers!! Malaysia Boleh!

Press the Voice Control button and say "Navigation voice guidance off" - this switches the wench off completely.

I tried it at home and got a clip behind the ear. I promptly then said "Navigation Voice Guidance On"!!
