Yes to side steps. I've never experienced this dirty trouser issue......mind you I stopped wearing baggy trousers when they went out of fashion at the end of the 70's......time to update your wardrobe VA Whistle Rolling with laughter
Also they cut down some of the crap from the road surface. And they may prevent premature wear on the outer edge of your shaped seats, an issue experienced by some in the past... Whistle

In answer to the question about the FFRR electric steps....not available on the RRS and you wouldn't want them any way because if you need to change a wheel you have to remove the electric side steps first Exclamation
That would really make your trousers dirty Rolling with laughter TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

IMO you have to be pretty short in order to need side steps.... especially when suspension is in access level.

NO NO NO!!!

im looking for a rrs at the mo and i want side steps coz i always thought that they would protect your car from picking up dints in car parks when other drivers open their car doors and decide that they will have to bang yours just to be able to get their fat arses out of their seats.

so do side steps protect the car from car park dints?

Depending on the offending car's height of course, yes they do. If you leave the suspensions in off-road height, even better. Twisted Evil
