2005 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

RR Sport 4.4 petrol coughs and splutter

My RR Sport is still the same during the cold months and being stood over night starting it in the morning it coughts and splutters for around 90 seconds then usually ok.

I have had jag invloved and found others THEY DO THE SAME.... surly this is a design fault the LAND ROVER need to address.

CAN any one help

They dont 'all do that', for sure. When you say you got LR involved, do you mean the dealer or Land Rover themselves?

I think there was a TSB about this some time ago, but don't remember if it was for the Supercharged or the 4.4.

If it was your dealer that said that, try one of the recommended dealers on here.

Certainly not a design fault and what's more there's a fix out there.

Get your service dept to look up LTB00197, which contains the fix.

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

My 2.7 dIESEL RRS was doing it when it was cold...
Took it in to Land rover and they could hear the problem but coiuldnt diagnose the problem...
In the end they gave it back to me with the problem and said to keep an eye on it...
I topped up the oil a bit and started putting a litre of 2 stroke in with every full tank and the problem went away...

Have spoken to dealer and they will be trying the new down load??? thank you, this is the first time i have got somewhere!

HIya Matey This TB refers to the 4.2 super charger only the deaer is telling me???????
