Supermoto Track Training

I have to post this here as there is no Off Topic Events option. Hope this is ok Martin.

Do you lot want me to organise a Supermoto Track Training day.

This will involve riding a Supermoto bike around a private track that is located on the Welsh border at a place called Presteigne . The track is part tarmac part gravel.
All the required kit will be included in the price, this being:- Bike, helmet, leathers, gloves, boots, petrol, sandwiches and drinks for lunch.
The bikes will be a choice of models from the CCM range of Supermoto’s.

Engine size:- 404cc up to 644cc.

Experience:- All you need is to be able to ride a motorbike. No licence is required. I have seen older chaps turn up on BSA Bantams having never done anything like this and left at the end of the day with a bigger grin than a Cheshire Cat. If you are into bikes you will enjoy this day out. It is too difficult to describe how exciting this day is.

Training:- The training involves classroom briefing and practical instruction; you will learn the principles of riding feet forward and sliding the rear wheel in true speedway fashion. By the end of the day you may even be trying the jumps, hopefully while you are still attached to the bike.

Numbers/Price:- 1 to 5 £240 per person 6 to 12 £190 per person

Dates:- Any Wednesday after 23rd April

Times:- 09:00hrs 16:00hrs ish

I already have 3 definite so there are 9 spaces left to fill.

Maybe the RRS boys would like to get a team together and we could have a race at the end of the day

Hmmm, bikes you say... they're those funny things with two wheels that you sit on top of? Wink This sounds great though - other than the fact that I can't ride a motorbike Crying or Very sad

If anyone's up for arranging a non-4x4 car-based event, I'm there though (well, given the obvious ramifications of being married to Mrs Shmoogle).

The pass for Sunday was submitted well in advance of said event, it's just I don't think Mrs Shmoogle attended the approval committee that day...
