Flights

I've been looking to find a flight from Malaga/Granada Airport to Paris on 23rd June this year and can't seem to find anything anywhere - all the websites i've seen want to bring me back to the UK first or via Iraq or other unsuitable places.

Was just wondering if any of you knowledgable RRSport people may know of a good site for me to look at??? (don't want to have to re-mortgage to pay for it either)

Reason is i made a slight booking error Embarassed and the villa i've booked is only for 6 days instead of 7 - haven't broke the news to SWMBO yet and was hoping a night in a nice Parisian hotel may make it up to her avoid any parts of my body having to be removed Big Cry

I'm not 100% on Paris either just thought it'd be a nice stop on the way back so any other ideas could be nice too

I know i'm really off topic Shocked but any help with this would be much appreciated Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Well for somewhere to stay in Paris, try the Park Hyatt on vendome, it's right next to Opera, near the great department stores, and great location. Very swanky hotel, nicer than the Ritz and George V in my opinion, more contemporary boutique as opposed to twee and antique looking. If you fancy somewhere more on the take of Holland Park in London, in Paris, try the 7th a/ment, it's very leafy and quiet, very near the river and a 5 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower, and near Ecole Militaire station....lots of good smaller 4 * hotels there....

In terms of flights, try Iberia on their website and see what they can offer, otherwise get a flight to Barca or Madrid first.....

Hope this helps

Its a very busy location mate, so think before you do. The Park Hyatt isn't cheap, but classy as they come, and there is a Tiffany right opposite, a Cartier down the road and two amzingly large department stroes just up the road - your wife will love it!

Excellent thanks it's always nice to have some 'insider info'
Same problem with the Iberia site as the rest though - one of the airports (either from or to) must be inside the UK no option to go from spain to france (unless of course i'm just being a useless Censored) Rolling with laughter

Mate - no direct flights from Malaga to Paris I'm afraid. All the indirect flights on that day take several hours.

Best I can see is:

Malaga-Barcelona-Orly (south of Paris although not a huge drive into the centre), on Vueling & ClickAir and will take a scheduled 5h20 and cost you £85 per person.

George V was maybe better when it wasn't owned by the Four Seasons, as much as I love Four Seasons, I;m not as keen anymore......

I still think the Park Hyatt is one of the best in Paris....very elegant.....and one of the best from the Park chain...as well as Milan
