I can't understand why you would want a higher volume than 20 with the HK set. Mine never gets played above 15 and that's very loud.

So maybe it's the software saying .................."it's too loud and that if I don't turn it down to max 20 you will blow up the amp and damage the speakers"

Alright granddad! Rolling with laughter Wink I regularly have mine at 35 when listening to music. I even had to fit a pre-amp to the audio input to boost volume further.

If I’ve been sitting in my car with the engine off listening to the stereo for a few minutes I usually get low power mode after about 5-10 minutes, then when the engine is running it stays in low power mode for about a minute and then all is good.

If you have a new battery it sounds like an alternator problem as you just don’t have enough voltage from the battery to stay above the low power threshold. On the plus side low power mode is there to protect you from a flat battery and not being able to start the car.
