Nothing specific to look for on the TDV6, but at that sort of age it would be worth taking someone who knows what they are looking for, or buy from a reputable main dealer.

Good luck

Buy HSE if you can stretch to it as it comes with most of the toys you'll want/need.

Tints are preferable (If you like or want them) as are LR OE side steps.

20" wheels are a popular add on too but do reduce ride quality but not as much as 22's (Obviously)

Colour is also something to watch. Most colours are desirable except the gold/sand colours.

Oh yeah, if you can stretch to it the TDV8 will give you all the go you need without much, if any mpg penalty over the TDV6.

My best advice?

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Do it. I bought a brand new one (TDV6) on the last day of Oct 2008, have driven it probably every day and I still grin like a Cheshire cat every time I see it or climb into it. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.
