There is a lot of money in Cyprus from wealthy Russians and Isrealis as well as Cypriots.

My mate is a half Cypriot/Scot who is a teaching pro at Dubai Creek. Everytime he comes back here he says he is amazed at the increasing number of Mercs/Beemers/Porsches etc. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

Lol... the funny thing is i know both those guys...

The veyron belongs to one of the wealthiest arab families on the island and the porsche belongs to a cypriot guy who trades in cars... He never keeps the same care for longer than 6 months otherwise he'd have to register it and pay the various duties/taxes (which he can't afford!)

Money ends up in lots of parts of the world - I have a client trying to get me to build in Libya!! Apparently there is a lot of new money - and Iran too....I politely declined!

Would still be good to see who will buy the worlds most expensive apartments at No. 1 Hyde Park, just opposite Harvey Nicks and Harrods......last figures were £20 million for 2 bed apartment - Candy Bros still doing well from recession proof buyers.....

....and another angle for making money. I am being approached by developers to work on principle development to build on graveyards!!! Nice eh??? It has scope, but why would you want to build, let alone find someone to buy an apartment in a development!!!
