More mods (warning - lots of pics!)

Ok so here she is with the new wheels, tints and new front grill. I just took these tonight so apart from downsizing and taking out reg number they are unedited (last pic is my favourite):

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

You need a RRSPORT.CO.UK sticker on that tailgate glass Wozz.

Positioned just below the wiper arm, it would complete the picture perfectly. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I didn't have any tints done on the front but when i look from inside out with the window half down there is definitely a light smoke on it. If its not standard then I guess it must be "clear" but there is a definite greenish tint to it WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Nice Thumbs Up

How much for the tints ? Did you say £250 somewhere ?

Are they just tints or tinted SupaGlass from Pentagon ?

Would be great to see in the daylight too Wink

Is smoke the most you can get A-B ?

Tints are the next thing on my todo list Smile

cheers Thumbs Up

I got the tints at Pentagon in the North West. I was going to get their midnight but they had a slightly darker one they keep in for Stratstone. They let me have some of that instead which was 5% darker.

It was £240 for that from the B pillar backwards so the two rear side windows and the rear itself. They did a fantastic job, let me work on my laptop while there on their wireless network and made me two brews whilst i was there. The job took about two and a half hours.

From todays experience alone I would recommend them and its worth doing now so you can let us all know progress on that matt black rrs in there Razz

Nice Wheels Wozz Smile they make a big difference don't they! Looking very smart. Did it ride differently on the 20's? I wouldn't go for tailpipes - personally i think they are a step too far.

Heh thanks mate. I have already started looking at having them refinished and I am really tempted by the shadow chrome.

It did ride a little differently on the 20's. The first thing I noticed was the slightly heavier steering and increased road noise but when i got up to speed on the A roads it definitely was holding the road better and felt like there was a little less roll and a little more grip. I'm very pleased so thanks again for supplying them. It feels like a different vehicle.

The tailipipes are already on the way and are just the oval chrome bits so easy enough to add/remove on a whim. I just feel the back end needs a little something as its unbroken grey at the moment. We'll see how it goes. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Thanks mate - I'm really pleased with how its coming on. I'm trying not to go overboard and just keep it simple for now. Seriously tempted by a shadow chrome refinish on the wheels though Smile WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award
