FYI I paid last week about 790€ (excl VAT) for the installation of the towbar and fitment of the plugs from my local stealer. I have to say I expected to pay way less, my mistake for not asking a quote at first... 2007 TDV8 Buckingham/Sand (daily driver)

I'd hire a box you can usually do this for less than £100 per day, they are a nicer way to travel the horse as you can usually get in with it, the modern lorries have much more level ramps which make horses easier to load. Towing a horse box is different to towing a caravan or a trailer too. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |

Major thanks all round - a friend of mine from Wetherby Rugby club is selling his RR Sport at the weekend and getting a new one - it already has a removeable tow bar and he fitted his own to his car so he's giving me his and we're fitting the electrics this weekend -

Thought this thread was just about finished however the stealer has told me that they wont get any wiring looms in for 4 weeks!!! There's 2 on ebay - one is a 13 pin and one is a 7 pin.
