New RRS 3.0 TDV6

I know this has been mentioned in passing, but does anyone actually know when the new 3.0 is coming out, and if for sure the new car will have the revised interior - and has anyone seen any pics of the insides? I am dying to know as I'm about to buy a new car, and not sure whether to swap in the RRS now, or wait til the new one is out. The GTC is def going, but don't really want to sell the RRS - or if I do, not sure I'd want a gap of 6 months or so before the new one comes out.

Out of all the cars I've had, the RRS will be the toughest to part with. I can't afford to run two large cars anymore - so it's either I buy a new RRS 3.0 when it comes out, or sell the RRS now (along with the GTC) and buy a pre-owned sports car, and a Smart for the trip into town and the office.....

On another note, can't reccommend Kam highly enough for his prompt service and excellent figures - his rates are miles ahead of anyone else out there and is certainly my option for funding my next car. Thanks again mate Thumbs Up

Nick, as far as I know the new RRS is supposed to come out in autumn 2009. Though will not be the only one sceptical about this statement due to the current climate, but any away in terms of pics, I am dying to see them as well. My recommendation would be to wait these couple of month and buy the new RRS. Thumbs Up

Mate, couple of questions for you. How is the ride of the RRS with 22" wheels on? And how is the quality of the rims?

You are selling the GTC? Shame really that it is RHD as I know a person looking for one LHD for the sort of prices as they go here in the UK.

Hey mate - my 22's are fine, and yes they are copies and have been load tested, and had them a year now, on Toyo's, and done 20K miles and still have 6mm left on them - never known tyres to last so long.

I just hope the interior is a long way from where it is now - and when I do swap in, I will need to take my 22's off, the darkened rear lights and HST grill - so they will be going on here if anyone wants to swap their lights, wheels and grills with mine for no charge - they can do.

I put my hand for the darkened rear lights now Whistle

Agree with Jay, wiat for the new one. But sell the old before the new one actually comes out to get the best deal possible. That is how I allways do it, sell the old model just before the new model comes out.

And get a convertible brabus smart for the city... Have been driving in it in and around Munich for some time and must say that it is wonderfull piece of kit Thumbs Up

You'll laugh harder when I tell you what small cars I've been looking at...Smarts, Polos, Corsas, Twingos...but I draw the line at a G Whizz! I have done over 22,000 miles this last year, so I need something that will give me good MPG, and then I will save the good car for the weekend....

Rear lights are yours, as long as i can have your lights.....thanks mate

Nick, read one of the other posts where CHPR mentiones that the prices for RRS have gone up so you might get whole £500 more for your motor now Rolling with laughter

A real nob of a company - they are out of business now though....but great wheels - in fact if I need new 22 wheels (instead of a refurb) and new tyres - it would probably only be another £200 to get a full new set of wheels and rubber....

I think I would buy a Scirroco GT if I was in the market for that kind of car....the alternative choice.....can't see how people for for the Focus ST and Breras of this world.......IMHO....fast hatchbacks was what we did as 20's somethings back in my day.....couldn't see myself going back to any of that kinda stuff.....

Has Kaine got his new wheels yet??
