in case anyone else is interested in this, I did mine a while back with a canadian company called B-Quiet. Its BETTER, and CHEAPER than any sound proofing company out there. Theya re on Fleabay too for a bit cheaper. I ordered it and two days later it was at my doorstep with a very reasonable price too

Yea depending on your location in the world its best to research the product first. Since I live in a warmer climate the B-Quiet has a higher DB loss at higher temps by far and is equal with Dynomat at lower temps. If you live in a semi mild climate that is warmer than cooler then go with B-Quiet.

I'm afraid the RRS soundproofing has been put on hold as I have got involved with another project - at the other end of the scale, you might say. But small things come in good packages.

Not a V8, but I am putting in a 1380 engine with fuel injection, electronic ignition and a few other power goodies, so with about 120 hp and very little weight it will take on a RRS supercharged anytime! .

Funny you should ask: There is an old Indian proverb about not paving all the roads with leather but just wearing shoes...
