A Speed pulse is a signal sent from your car components, commonly the ABS or gearbox, to your clocks for speed display and engine/abs management. All decent navigation units require this information, in addition to GPS positioning and gyroscopic information to correctly position the vehicle.

Speed control....... Question

Im actually fitting an aftermarket sat nav and it could do with this input from the car!

All i know is that its called speed pulse, must be from the gearbox or something to the speedometer?

My guess is that it's the info that the sat nav gets from the speed and angle of the front tyres.
- It's why the map works indoors....

BUt thats a total guess. 2022 P440e AB

This might be related to the ABS Module and the wires that go into the Navigation System Module...
