When i bought mine one dealer said if theres anything you fancy (plate combo) then let me know and i'll have a word (to see if he can get it included in the next sale) - cannot change things or guarantee anything but can have a word .......

It's interesting how the DVLA seems to monitor sales from their website - in 2001 I bought 2 consecutive plates for £250 each, told some friends who I knew were also looking for P series MUD plates and the next day when they went in suddenly all the MUD plates had been withdrawn and allegedly put into a special auction. Similar when I bought my FAST plate, there was a huge selection of them at £900 so I bought my plate, when I went back onto the website all the FA57 plates disappeared from the website and went to auction.....................

Not that bright are they - civil servants taking home a good salary - no initiative and taking marketing leads from the market place.....
