As the warranty on my 06 RRs has or is about to run out and the landrover warranty quote was extortionate, has anyone ever used or is currently using either of the companies I mentioned , warranty wise or warranty direct , your replies would be more than welcome , cheers rbr |

My experience is with waranty direct is that if you don't take their offer, they reduce the cost a wee bit later....

Having looked closely at both Warranty Direct & WarrantyWise (and Land Rover Extended Warranty) , I recently decided to go with Tesco Finest. Its provided by the same people who do Land Rover's own Extended Warranty scheme but offers slightly better cover at MUCH lower cost. One thing to watch out for with the WarrantyWise 'standard' quote. It seems to be based on a labour rate of £35 per hour which won't get you far with a Land Rover dealer!! If you specify a higher labour rate the price does of course go up. The Tesco scheme compares VERY favourably with both Warranty Direct and Warranty Wise but is cheaper than both.
