Latest software upgrade - PDC too sensitive now

Our RRS went in for it's first service (at 14,845 miles) on Tuesday this week. The service cost £348 Shocked - for just an oil change and two bottles of screen wash - one of which was left unopened in the car!!

I asked them to do a software upgrade again and they also did a recall, but I don't know what this was yet.
Anyway, I drove it today for the first time since the service and the PDC is now *very* much more sensitive. I sat in a queue on a reasonably wide A-road for 30 mins this afternoon and the PDC beeper went off every time a car passed on the other side of the road! Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!

It wasn't a dusty bit of road was it? Dust and exhaust fumes have always been picked up too easily.

Not dust, but it could well of been rain and spray. Matt

They are certainly *much* more sensitive than they were before. I'd get very few false alarms before. Matt
