Paid deposit today.....

Well folks my search has ended.....deposit paid today. Hopefully pick it up next week.

I wanted side steps, so they'll be fitted by the time I pick it up. Also, not a big fan of those wheels so trying to negotiate a deal on Overfinch Supersport's.

Anyway, thought I'd share my joy

Keep the wheels, bring them home with you and put an ad in the For Sale section, unless you are getting a partex on them from the dealer of course. There are people on here and Disco3 who might take them off you for a sensible price.

Tiko the photo shows it has an ACC box in the lower intake............................ 2.7's, even HST's, don't get adaptive cruise - make sure you get the supplier to demo the ACC it before you take it away because you will have the only UK tdv6 with adaptive cruise if it has been fitted! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It does look nice... Mr. Green

Is there any photoshop buffs on here by any chance? If so, could you please stick a set of 22' Supersports on. This way I'll know whether to have Saxton put on the wheels for my arrival.

TIA

*****STOP PRESS*****

Just found out from my finance guy.....the car is a parallel import. Supposedly, the vin no only has 16 digits. According to him, cars found this way were destined for outside UK. UK cars have 17 digits.

Please tell me, I'm not gonna be stumped in 3 years when it's up for sale as it's an import!!

I did ask saxtons and basically I was told its still full uk spec and will be covered by LR warranty.

TIA

I believe all VINs are 17 characters, regardless of country of sale.... Confused

So it's a parallel import......Am I in serious dog poo for buying one with LR? Will they still give the same service, warranty etc if it was a UK supplied model.

I don't want to make a serious mistake here folks....need your assistance on this urgently.

When it comes to resale - its going to hit you, as buyers both dealers and private, will hit you on the price Sad

If your happy and willing to accept that, then there's nothing wrong with buying it!

And Saxon are laughing all the way to the Bank, they have both misled you and misdescribed the car, but as said if you are happy with it then take it. I doubt these days there is much saving buying abroad but you must check the spec is correct for the UK - warranty should not be a problem but Land Rover Assist might be.
Forgot to ask if the docs show previous owners & where were they. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
