No, niente a che fare con l'USI, lavoro in un settore completamente differente, vedi il mio avatar Wink

seriously, Iphone 3g ROCKS!!!!!

Works a billion times better than my n95 with the car. No issues at all except the dodgy ringtone lol. Wont play the custom one through the speakers like the n95 did.

I have a new iPhone 3G with the latest iPhone firmware update (Version 2.2).

I have a new MY09 TDV6 HSE.

It all works perfectly with bluetooth!

In fact, I can plug the iPhone 3G into the audio Aux socket at the back of the centre arm rest and use it as an Aux device AND still use it us the bluetooth phone.

It's brilliant! I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

I have the 3g and all functions work fine. There is one problem with the current apple software - the first call you get once paired will answer but be unable to hear the caller or be heard by the caller. A fix is on it's way apparently. The other pain is that when the phone book is transfered the contacts are sorted by surname and not first name.

Any news of the fix? Mine does this. You can answer a call with the phone and all is well, but answer the call using the car (steering wheel buttons) and then the other party doesn''t hear you. Haven't tried it since Apple 2.2 - has this sorted it?

I have a 2005 RR Sport with bluetooth .... it was connecting to the 3G Iphone but not transferring the call registers etc ...

Had the software upgrade done by a LandRover specialist and now it doesn't connect automatically!!

Took it to LR dealer and apparently the definitive answer is:

2005 PTI module will work out of the box on original software for auto basic connectivity but if you upgrade the software it doesn't!

The only option now is to buy the 2007 > PTI which will allow full usage including contacts and registers etc .... but costs £260 + VAT plus fitting ....

..... GREAT !!!

I had an early 2005 RRS and upgraded the PTI software and worked perfectly with my 3g iPhone. I would actually say there's a problem with your PTI but as the car is out of warranty that doesn't help you. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

iphone 2G repairing

I use a iphone 2G with 2005RRS & official RRS ipod cradle interface to Logic 7 & bluetooth. Every 3 or 4 times I switch the engine off I need to re-pair & repin otherwise bluetooth no longer works - irritating on short journeys. Previous Nokia phone paired for life! Also since upgrading to iphone 2.0 software with my jailbreaked phone the music no longer feeds through from the ipod cradle. Must get round to resetting it. The official RRS ipod cradle was designed for a fatter ipod hence if you accelerate fast (in my diesel V6) the phone escapes from the holder.
Looking forward to the iphone 3.0 hardware & software upgrade in the summer and 2010 RRS upgrade next year which of course will be compatible !?!?! with iphone powered ignition like the LRX concept? That's my wishlist, plus..... Just give me a RR tailgate on a RRS please.
