Tim, how about setting up an RTV type event at some stage during the day. I think that would be great fun in a RRS, as long as carefully set up on suitable ground conditions. You could space the canes and turns to suit a RRS but just leave a D3 feeling a wee bit too big and unweildy RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

S, when I was a member of the MGOC they used to do "Autotests", basically an RTV, on a drained ornamental pond at Doune, that had a concrete base and covered about an acre....................... it was great fun and non damaging unless you did something totally stupid and ventured into the mud or slimey bits when you were likely to end up on what had been an island in the pond or going up on the 6ft high banks. Unfortunately that venue is now a housing developement! The other option would be a supermarket car park. To make it LR suitable I would also need to have some access to some ground to add a spot of offroad element. BUT I will use my contacts with the SLROC to see if they can suggest somewhere and maybe I can also borrow some of their cone and cane collection if they are not using them that weekend. The 2nd August is a Bank Holiday weekend in Scotland so venues large enough may be a bit thin on the ground. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
